Just finish ground up restoration. OnCTR. Yellowbird. CTR2. All these names can only be associated with the manufacturer of some of the world’s fastest vehicles : RUF. The Pfaffenhausen-based tuner is also the only one recognized as an official manufacturer. While most RUFs start their life as regular Porsches and keep their Porsche VIN once the transformation is complete, the manufacturer status allows the RUF factory to build some cars from scratch. The 30 original Yellow Bird as well as the 17 CTR 2 Sport produced all sport RUF VINs since they were built on naked Porsche frames.e of the 7,104 Bosses Built in 1970 only 51 of those were painted pastel blue. Mangnum 500 wheels.
