A signed Photograph and letter relating to British Tennis Player Betty Nuthall, the 1927 British Hard Court Champion, comprising a signed letter on Cunard R.M.S. Ascania headed paper in ink to a Miss Hooper from Betty Nuthall; a mounted signed postcard in ink dated 1927; a press photograph of Miss Mary Heeley and Miss Betty Nuthall and Learning Lawn Tennis by Betty Nuthall, edition 1928; sold together with an Edwardian Tennis Trim Card of Frank Lorymer Riseley, a signed sheet in black ink by Frank L Riseley Jan 1924 and a signed calling card in black ink by S. H. Smith (Riseley's doubles partner); the lot also including Davis Cup Player in the 1920's J.B. Gilbert, E Trim & Co tennis card, with impressed stamp; a Thank You letter from J Brian Gilbert to Roger Pullock, Surrey, dated 20.1.24, (9) Frank Riseley was the Wimbledon Doubles Champion in 1902 and 1906, on the Davis Cup team in 1922 and Wimbledon Grand Slam Singles Runner-up in 1903, 1904 and 1906. J.B. Gilbert was a Davis Cup Player in the 1920's, a Wimbledon Semi-Finalist in 1922 and in 1924 a Wimbeldon Mixed Doubles Champion with Kitty McKane.
