All bidders must be registered. A current drivers license is required for in-house registration. The purchaser assumes full responsibility for items at the fall of the gavel. The record of sale kept by the auction house will be taken as final in the case of a dispute. The auctioneer will acknowledge the high bidder of each lot and will be the sole judge of the purchaser of each item. In the case of duplicate left bids,efforts will be made to advise the involved bidders of the situation. Generally,the first left bid will have preference. There will be a 10% premium added to the phammer price of each lot in-house and will be considered part of the purchase price. All advance bids and all related financial considerations must be completed 12 hours prior to sale start. All purchases will be subject to 13% HST. Out of country buyers are responsible for paying the HST,without exception. All items purchased in-house must be paid in full on the day of the sale by cash,debit,approved cheque,Visa or Mastercard. All arrangements for shipping or storage for in-house or advance bidders must be made prior to the auction and all purchased items must be removed from the hall sale day. All property is sold where-is,as-is,and neither the auction house nor the consignor make any warranties or representations of any kind or nature with respect to the property or its value,and in no event shall they be responsible for the correctness of description,genuineness,attribution,provenance,authenticity,authorship,completeness,condition of property or estimate of value. No statement,written or oral,at the sale or elsewhereshall be deemed such a warranty or representation,or any assumption of responsibility. Bidding on any article indicates your full acceptance of all the above terms. Third Party Liability. Any person on the Jarvis Community Centre premises or property before,during or after the preview or auction is deemed to be there at his/her own risk and shall have no claim against the auction house,its employees or the Jarvis Lions club in respect of any injury sustained or any accident of any nature that may occur on said property.
