Winchester 200th Anniversary Custom Grade Model 1984

The Oliver F. Winchester 200th Anniversary Custom Grade Winchester Model 1894 commemorates the 200th anniversary of Oliver Fisher Winchester's birth. One of only 500 made. Has matching serial number to the High Grade. 24" half-round, half-round octagon deeply blued barrel. A buckhorn rear sight is matched with a Marble's gold bead front sight. Grave IV/V walnut w/rich, high gloss finish. Deep scroll engraving covers both sides of the blued receiver. Early Winchester Repeating Arms crest graces the left side of the receiver, w/the right side bearing the words, "Two Hundred Years, Oliver F. Winchester" & the dates "1810-2010" in gold. Barrel is deeply polished w/signature of Oliver F. Winchester in gold on top of the bolt. "One of Five Hundred" is inscribed in gold on the barrel of the Custom Grade rifle.

The Oliver F. Winchester 200th Anniversary High Grade Winchester Model 1894 commemorates the 200th anniversary of Oliver Fisher Winchester's birth. Has matching serial number to the Custom Grade. Deeply embellished w/delicate scroll work, w/Oliver F. Winchester's signature in gold on top of the bolt. Left side of the receiver bears early Winchester Repeating Arms crest. On the right side are the words, "Two Hundred Years, Oliver F. Winchester," and the dates "1810-2010." Fancy Grade II/III walnut stock is enhanced with high gloss finish & is delicately checkered, complementing the fine embellishments on the silver nitride receiver. Also chambered in the timeless 30-30 Winchester caliber w/deeply blued half-round, half octagon barrel. Buckhorn rear sight is fitted with a Marble's gold bead front sight.

Herschede "The Clock"

The clock in the first picture was taken from a web site. Our clock has been professionally crated for moving & will be left in the crate for moving. Herschede described the limited edition model 250 as the "world's finest grandfather clock." This was the last model Herschede made before closing its doors. A true piece of working art. Precision crafted completely by hand. The nine tubular bell movement, made entirely by Herschede, plays 3 chime tunes. Westminster (an exact duplication of the Westminster Abbey chimes), Whittington, and the exclusive-to-Herschede, Canterbury Chimes. The 14-karat gold-plated dial was hand-engraved and even the rivets that affix the dial to the faceplate were silver-plated. According to Herschede, no shortcuts were taken in the manufacture of this clock. The case consists of rare burled veneers of Spanish Olive Ash were cut and matched by hand one at a time, then burnished and hand-polished to enhance beauty. A specially compounded and applied finish creates the appearance of a 200+ year-old antique. According to Herschede, 108 feet of antique strip brass was carefully applied and meticulously hand-mitered around the entire case to enhance the case's beauty. Thick beveled plate glass panels were inset into the front door and side panels permitting one to see the brass weights and nickel cadmium/chrome chime tubes inside. Even the inside of the cabinet is completely finished. Herschede lovers believe this may possibly the finest timepiece ever made; well, certainly it was a “blaze of glory” accomplishment for the firm. The moon dial was painted by hand and features two moons and two seascapes. One seascape is a three-mast schooner passing a lighthouse point. The second seascape is a cabin scene at the ocean's edge. As the moon rotates on the date dial it moves in small daily increments rotating the two seascape scenes following the moon's phases.
