In addition to book illustrating, the artist also designed a number of covers for magazine publications. He also produced and created several animated commercials and specials for television. In 1998, the International Animated Film Society gave Earle its Windsor McCay Award for lifetime achievement. In the 1940s, Earle adapted his creative landscapes to Christmas cards and painted more than 800 designs that have sold more than 300 million copies through American Artist Group. After about 15 years of creating animated art, Earle returned to painting full-time in 1966. He continued to work rigorously until the end of his life. In addition to his watercolors, oils, sculptures, drawings, and scracthboards, Earle began making limited-edition serigraphs in 1974. Earle had a completely original perception of landscape. He successfully synthesized seemingly in congruent aspects into a singularly distinctive style-- a style that is simultaneously mysterious, primitive, disciplined, moody, and nostalgic. He captured the grandeur and simplicity of the American countryside, and represented glimpses of the American scene with a direct lyric ardor. His landscapes are remarkable for their suggestion of distance, landmass, and weather mood.

Norman Rockwell "Lickin' Good Bath" Encore Edition Ten Color Lithograph, Numbered Edition of 200 MEDIUM: Ten Color Lithograph Dimensions: 22.5" x 21" Encore Edition lithograph prints with authorized signature and trademark initials embossed in gold. The corporate logo of Eleanor Ettinger Inc. is embossed in silver and in addition, each print bears three additional distinctive marking of authenticity. Hand proofed, printed and completed in July of 1977 at Atelier Ettinger Inc. The publisher, Eleanor Ettinger Inc., worked in conjunction with Norman Rockwell since 1975 and in total they hand produced 77 original lithographs of his work. All the original lithographs they produced including the Encore Edition were done at the same atelier using the exact same process. While the process to create the original lithographs was the same, the outcome was different for these 16 pieces that later became known as the Encore Edition. For the first 60 images produced, Rockwell was able to hand sign these pieces but a fall in 1977 left him unable to pencil sign these final editions that he so wanted his collectors to enjoy. To compensate and provide unquestionable intent and authenticity he not only had his publisher provide the same paperwork as the pencil singed editions but also included extra marking of authenticity and a notarized letter. As with previously released editions, the Ettinger published original lithographs were produced in an edition of 200 signed and numbered images, with 60 artist proofs. There are 25 deluxe artist proofs on Japon paper. In addition 35 impressions, designated with Roman numerals, were given to the Norman Rockwell estate.

Norman Rockwell "Dancing Partners" Encore Edition Ten Color Lithograph, Numbered Edition of 200 MEDIUM: Ten Color Lithograph Dimensions: 22.5" x 21" Encore Edition lithograph prints with authorized signature and trademark initials embossed in gold. The corporate logo of Eleanor Ettinger Inc. is embossed in silver and in addition, each print bears three additional distinctive marking of authenticity. Hand proofed, printed and completed in July of 1977 at Atelier Ettinger Inc. The publisher, Eleanor Ettinger Inc., worked in conjunction with Norman Rockwell since 1975 and in total they hand produced 77 original lithographs of his work. All the original lithographs they produced including the Encore Edition were done at the same atelier using the exact same process. While the process to create the original lithographs was the same, the outcome was different for these 16 pieces that later became known as the Encore Edition. For the first 60 images produced, Rockwell was able to hand sign these pieces but a fall in 1977 left him unable to pencil sign these final editions that he so wanted his collectors to enjoy. To compensate and provide unquestionable intent and authenticity he not only had his publisher provide the same paperwork as the pencil singed editions but also included extra marking of authenticity and a notarized letter. As with previously released editions, the Ettinger published original lithographs were produced in an edition of 200 signed and numbered images, with 60 artist proofs. There are 25 deluxe artist proofs on Japon paper. In addition 35 impressions, designated with Roman numerals, were given to the Norman Rockwell estate.
