Condition is fine to near excellent retaining approx. 85%-90% rust blue. Small parts show evidence of light cleaning, and grips with light general flattening to checks, more pronounced to right panel. Good action and bore. Complete in modified Naval holster with unmarked combination tool (in the white), cleaning rod with oiler, pin punch, and two-cell magazine pouch. Both holster and pouch marked ''A.E.''. Like New U.S. marked Remington Model 541X Bolt Action Target Rifle, #A1067445, .22 LR cal., 27'' heavy barrel, blued finish, smooth pistol-grip hardwood stock with an oil...more finish, checkered black plastic Remington buttplate, and sling swivels; front swivel is adjustable and sits in recessed channel. Target sights include a globe front and Williams aperture rear sight. Includes one 5-round nylon magazine. Receiver is marked ''U.S.'' on left side above serial number. Barrel date code is ''DF'', mfg'd in 1985. Overall condition is excellent, appearing as new. Metal surfaces retain virtually all of the blued finish. Factory lettering is crisp. Stock with one shallow handling mark to left side of forend; right side of buttstock with a very minor vertical scratch; both detract very little from this otherwise mint rifle. Action is smooth. Condition overall is very good with almost all of the green parkerized finish remaining on the metal. Both handguards show light handling mark. Stock is very good showing a lighter color on the left side and a few handling marks. Action is smooth, bright bore is excellent. Includes a reproduction tan leather sling in excellent condition stamped ''RIA 1941''. U.S. M1 bayonet is marked ''PAL/U.S.'' and is in good condition with a roughly sharpened blade. Marked on receiver tang ''U.S.RIFLE CAL..30 M1 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY''. Barrel marked ''P'' and ''M''. Trigger housing group/hammer and bolt marked ''SA''. Operating rod marked ''RA'' and ''NM''. No markings on stock. British London export proofs stamped on top of barrel. Very visible three splice repair to front handguard. Condition overall is very good with almost all of the dark parkerized refinish remaining on the metal. Black paint is flaking on the gas cylinder assembly. Wood has been sanded and refinished with a flat stain and shows no handling marks. Action is smooth, bright bore is excellent with sharp rifling. Includes a U.S.G.I. green cotton sling in good condition and an extra front handguard in good condition. Barrel is a commercial replacement and is marked ''ARLINGTON ORD.ARL.VA. .30-06''. Stock has ''(circle)/P'' firing proof on underside of wrist. Rifle has been converted to tanker length by installing a short barrel and modifying front hand guard, etc. Condition overall is very good with metal surfaces retaining almost all of its parkerized refinish, showing only light wear. Wood is very good and has been sanded and refinished with a gloss varnish. Action is smooth, bore is very good with darkening in the grooves. No visible import stamps. Includes a Korean marked green cotton sling in very good condition. Bayonet is stamped ''U.S.M5A1 MILPAR COL'' and is very good with a slightly rounded tip showing only light wear. 1st Year Production Smith & Wesson Model 53 .22 Remington Jet/.22 LR Double Action Revolver, with box and reloading extras, #K447329, 4-screw frame, .22 Rem. Jet cal., ad...moreditional .22 LR cylinder with matching serial number. Featuring a 6'' pinned barrel with solid rib, blue finish, factory checkered square butt diamond center target grips with silver S&W medallions, serrated and ramped front sight, square notched rear sight that is adjustable for both windage and elevation, case hardened hammer and trigger. Mfg'd 1961. In original two-piece box that is numbered to the gun, with six (6) of the steel inserts for shooting .22 LR. Also included is a set of RCBS .22 Jet reloading dies, approx. 200 rounds of loaded .22 Jet ammunition, and approx 50 pieces of brass. Live ammunition is being sold for components only. Approx. 95% original blue finish remains and revolver rates as very good overall. Barrel with general micro-scratching, as well as a few small spots of finish loss and wear around the muzzle; cylinder with a moderate index line. Factory lettering is clear and defined. Approx. 75% case colors remain with nearly all of the fading being to the trigger. Grips with intermittent normal small handling marks, checkering is excellent. Action is crisp with a smooth hammer and trigger; bright bore rates excellent. .22 LR cylinder with a light thin index line. Box shows some flaking and loss to the blue finish, predominantly around the edges; one of the corners is split on an otherwise solid box; firearms identification on the end piece is clear. Smith & Wesson Model 14-2 K-38 Target Masterpiece Double Action Revolver, #K588309, .38 Spec. cal., 6'' pinned barrel with solid rib, blue finish, factory checkered squar...moree butt diamond center magna style walnut grips with silver S&W medallions; grips are numbered to the gun. Sights include a Patridge front and micrometer click adjustable rear, with a color case hardened hammer and trigger. Mfg'd 1964. Approx. 96%-97% factory polished blue finish remains, 98% rich case colors, and this revolver rates as excellent overall. Wear at the muzzle and cylinder highpoints accounts for a majority of the finish loss; cylinder with a thin index line. Butt with a few spots of moderate freckling and otherwise metal shows normal scattered light handling marks. Grips also show a few light handling marks to the flat borders, checkering is clean and sharp. Action is smooth and crisp; bright bore rates excellent. Est.: $600-$900. (C&R/PPT)
